Christopher Nolan has done it again. He's crafted a brilliant film which yet again proves that he's one of the best filmmakers of all time.
Barbie and Oppenheimer are both polar opposites and the whole thing was so silly that I was inclined to support Barbie for some reason. I am yet to see Barbie, but with the fact that this film moved me so much, I don't think that Barbie has a chance. But I've also heard only good about Barbie so far, so ye. Fingers crossed.
Oppenheimer however, is a masterpiece. It's just so epic, so wonderfully shot and brilliantly written, with some very good performances. The score is also brilliant, and Nolan's direction - phenomenal.
The only thing that 'sort' of bothered me was the pacing. I mean- it's a 3 hour long movie. The slow-burn nature comes with the package.
If you haven't seen this one yet, please do. It's absolutely incredible.
