    Mark Lester has a built in cache with me from directing films like Class of 1884, Firestarter, Commando, and producing films like the Funhouse, so I’ll sit through a lot for him (cough cough Poseidon Rex.)

    But this movie is bananas (literally)… in all of the best ways.

    The Producer part of me feels like 
    this story could have been told for much cheaper and (maybe) just as effectively without turning a portion of Seattle into a Mad Max-esque wasteland. But…
