Grimy and hyper violent which felt like a throwback to 2000’s action which always plays for me. Doubt I’ll rewatch this often if ever but definitely better than most Netflix releases.

“It’s today, again.”
The framing of the story doesn’t hold up as well for me on rewatch but all of the usual good stuff from Wes is here and Schwartzman absolutely knocks it out of the park in this.
I would love to see Margot get a full role in a future movie from Wes her scene in this is perfect.

I did really enjoy this. It felt different enough and gave each character their time to shine. The action we did get was fun although I would’ve liked a bit more (my whole theater cheered when Winter Soldier appears which was cool as I’ve been highly addicted to Marvel Rivals).
Overall I may be a little biased as my theater was full and people cheered during highlights which will boost a score. Also seeing Florence Pugh always boosts a score.

Obviously looks incredible (and water is wet) and has one of the funnier ensembles Wes has used, but I feel this is by far his weakest story.
