The Philadelphia Story (1940) certainly stands as a remarkable comedy-romance, but its ending left me feeling somewhat bewildered and unsatisfied. After everything that transpired, Tracy's decision to marry Dexter over Connor seemed, in hindsight, inconsistent with the emotional journey we had witnessed.
