elliott heffernan’s first performance and he is utterly brilliant, alongside saoirse ronan who is, as always, remarkable. between blitz and the outrun, i believe 2024 has given us two of her best performances.

a quiet and very beautiful movie, filled with raw emotion. saoirse ronan’s performance is one to be remembered and hopefully awarded. rooting for her, as always.

sometimes films are just very, very good. this is one of those films. there’s nothing to say that hasn’t been said, it’s a classic for a reason.

somehow this is the first judy garland film i’ve watched <3 completely in love with this film, loved the characters & their dynamics & the OUTFITS & the colours & the songs. just all of it, entirely.
