Hey. So tampopo might me the last movie I might log in on this site. Unless I finally get to see Barbie or Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm (where I live the closest IMAX 70mm theater is THREE HOURS away😭😭😭😭). Gonna start working on my summer assignment for one of my upcoming classes and I’m officially going to be starting my senior year of high school which….low key makes me feel a bit old and shocked😳😭. I’m still gonna be on this site and check out reviews, but I might not have the time to watch a movie because well Im taking AP classes this year. I’m also going to start preparing to get into the workforce and start getting hired for a job to prepare me for the future as an adult doing college and finding a sustainable job. The eventual job as well as the homework and studying required for AP classes means I’ll rarely have the time to watch a movie. So I might not post reviews on here that often from now on.
But yeah it’s been so awesome using this site. This is low key my favorite social media, just the the fact that you can review movies and anime on this and you can find people who have the same movie and anime taste as you. I’ve seen and talked to some fantastic people on this site and it’s been so fun using this thing and just posting reviews. I don’t want this to come off as “oh I’m so popular i got so much clout on Letterboxd” but seeing that there is a group of people’s that genuinely cares about my opinions and what I have to say about a movie is just so heartwarming and touching to me. Seeing that my opinion does matter, is just affecting and so beautiful. To the people that follow me, like my reviews, and comment on them, thank you so much. I can’t explain how much it means to me, as someone who feels like he can’t show or properly express his passions to people who don’t understand them.
Anyways, that’s it. I guess I’ll make this a QnA lol. Ask me any questions you’d like and yeah it’s been so cool using this site and writing reviews on here :)
