I came in expecting a schlocky 50s b movie camp but was surprised to discover a genuinely great horror with the classic Frankenstein tale with a touch of teen angst. As always, I will begin this review stating that whether or not this will be a subjective review and I will say that this is subjective as I want to focus on my reaction on after walking out the theaters seeing this. But man, this is everything I loved about Godzilla. The political intrigue and drama, the politcal allegories, the spectacle, and the horror and sci fi aspect showing godzilla as an unstoppable force of nature.

Like with the original series, I was afraid revisiting this movie as an adult not being this awesome one of a kind thing my six year old remembered this being.
