I love watching various soviet era Russian films on mosfilm YouTube alas this didn’t do much For me as it was a tad too melodramatic but I will say that the scene where mark plays the piano while bombs fell around them was rightfully haunting.

Gorgeous imagery.. so many thoughts but no words all I’m thinking of is the script scene where at the very end of the dialogue, Diane says "I hate you, I hate us both", which could be a reflection of how she feels about Camilla. She hates Camilla because she broke her heart, but she also hates herself, because of what she has become. Christ I can’t wait to watch this another 5 times.. David lynch I want you x
