Monica Bellucci stapling herself together is life changing. Someone make it a backdrop please 🙏
In my Beetlejuice pyjamas with my Beetlejuice Stanley cup having the time of my life. It's got some poorly hidden fetishes and Lydia is terribly mischaracterished BUT I DONT CARE!! Joy and whimsy prevails I think this is so silly and fun. I have constant nostalgia for seeing this in the cinema twice within the first 5 days of it being released.
Vincent Price gets tormented for an hour then has a valid crash out.
Luana Anders looks utterly enchanting in ever scene and is serving mega amounts of cunt with every costume. And like yeah there's some other dudes there aswell ig 🤧
This film has genuinely been tattooed on my frontal lobe since the age of 9 when I watched it every week for a year. Majorly influenced my music and fashion taste. So obsessed with this film I even cut out a clipping from the newspaper of this film and glued it to my dolls house tv so my dolls could watch it too 😩 (this film also had me genuinely confused on Alice Coopers gender for a while)
On a side note: last month I managed to thrift a copy of the visual companion of this film signed by Tim Burton for £15 including p&p
This may be the biggest letdown of my year so far. I was so convinced I would like this I even asked for the criterion for Christmas which I'm now realising was a mistake.
I can accept a film with dislikable character if its entertaining, take my numerous 5 star reviews of The Wolf of Wall Street for example but this was painfully boring. By the last half an hour I was genuinely praying for it to end. The women…
Absolutely none of you fw this film the way I do 🤧 I saw this three times in the cinema and honestly if I wasn't broke I would've gone again. Rachel Zegler they'll never make me hate you.
Funniest film of the franchise thank you Jason Schwartzman for the beautiful line delivery of "Turberculosus on legs" & "These drones are not very good." to name a few.
Viola Davis was HAUNTING in this and I feel like as a society we moved on too quickly.
Imagine how gagged Clark must've been the first time he walked into his sons room and saw a poster of his sidepiece (Pushing the superbat agenda until I die)
Way too many references to cosplay in this it lowkey was freaking me OUTTTT 😭
Diane, 11:30 am, February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks.
Happy Twin Peaks day 🥳🦉🌲 Obviously as per every year I sat myself down with a cup of coffee and some cherry pie to rewatch this utter masterpiece of a pilot.
First Lynch watch since passing 💔 this was my gateway drug to Lynch and ultimately my favourite work of his.
If you looked up the definition of delightful this film would appear.
It's genuinely one of the most charming films ever made 🤷♀️ It's got an amazing soundtrack and Willem Dafoe, what else could you want? Maybe one of the cosiest films ever made.
I hadn't seen this in two years and the criterion appearing in the sales before Christmas felt like fate.
This was part of my early bday gift from Niamh which was 21 films from ever year I've been alive. No cinephile has been treated better by their friends than me 🤭
Might attempt to watch as many of them as I can before my actual bday💪
Reasonable crashout, would've done the same if my whole family was that annoying.
First Eggers full length feature and it did not disappoint. Everything about this film is fantastic, the cinematography is gorgeous and everyone was absolutely acting their butt's off. Sound design goes hard as well.
I don't know what else to say about this one that hasn't already been said a million times. It's great and that's all you need to know.
