Megalopolis 2024
I love that Coppola take risks and creates something of an unusual spectacle that is rarely seen in modern cinema. The chaotic energy and campy dialogue verge on the absurd. There are several moments where you don't know whether to laugh or take it seriously. It doesn't necessarily work on every occasion, but when it does work, it's astounding.

The Human Condition I: No Greater Love 1959
A good man in a cruel world.
The Human Condition I: No Greater Love is a powerful and visually striking (possibly the most beautiful black and white film I've seen) film about one man's struggle to uphold his morality and humanity in the face of war and oppression. In many ways it resembles Schindler's List as they both critique oppressive systems that allows abuse of human rights.
Tatsuya Nakadai also gives an all-time performance in this, and I'm so excited to watch the rest of the triology.

Oh my GOD! This is exactly what Marvel fans wanted. Deadpool making sex jokes and breaking the fourth wall. Wolverine being a fucking beast all suited up. Insane cameos. And a hilarious fucking movie. We are so BACK!!!

Dune: Part Two 2024
Well Dune might just be the new LOTR.
I'll probably rewatch Part One & Two in some days to get the full experience, and hopefully up my ratings!
