Walking into the theater without prior research into the real world events depicted in The Iron Claw, I had no idea the title of the film would describe my own curled toes each time the Von Erich family was hit with another tragedy. The filmmakers excellently telegraph each twist moments before the reveal, allowing even audience members who are unfamiliar with this true story to feel the familiar unease of impending doom.
