While an amazing film, it did feel like at certain points watching a theater production. You can imagine my surprise when I did more research about this film and found that it was on stage at some point.
There were points where the music was just too big of a presence when you had the strength of Hong Chau and Brendan Fraser to carry the scene.
While I did feel strong emotions, I think it really tried forcing it out…
