Freddy (Space Cast)’s review published on Letterboxd:
Hey Everyone
I wanna say I'm sorry for my lack of activity in the past month or so. I have been very busy IRL. Particularly with my 4th semester of Art & Design class. There has been a lot of reading and writing involved especially with art history study. Yeah, these classes get big on the writing when you hit a higher level.
I did state in my Early Man review that I would be checking out some historical media, as part of the art history study. I haven't really gotten around to watching movies of that category. But I have been doing quite a bit of reading on history, and much of it has been genuinely fascinating.
I think it's interesting to explore how humans have perceived art and creation throughout history. I myself have been looking into the evolution of writing throughout my study. While the evolution of writing dates back further. Ancient Greece offered some of the earliest "critical theories" which still remain significant to this day. Some figures like Homer presented some of the earliest themes of tragedy within writing.
I won't go on about what I looked into this semester. I just wanted to give a brief of what I found interesting.
Anyway, I still have classes and studies ahead of me. I've just finished a week of hand-ins. After such an exhausting week I think I'll use this weekend to give myself a break. And I’ll watch a few films and stuff for this letterboxd. I hope to figure out a way to manage my time so I can keep up with my studies and still give off some LB reviews
Being an adult is rather difficult 😔
Ending with a positive note
- I did see 4 episodes of The Boys S1 with my best friend. And I gotta say that show is an MCU a$$ kicker
- I do intend to start reading Game Of Thrones once I begin my mediaeval study so that should be fun
- And I will see what I can post some reviews this weekend
