Firstly, I was able to see the stage musical at the start of this year, so I knew what was going to happen (what is going to happen next) and how brilliant this product already was.

I bring this up because all of those feeling I felt watching that performance then, were magnified watching this. I wouldn't have thought it was possible. Everything is gorgeous to look at, the songs are all memorable and catchy, and this has easily become one of my favourite films of 2024.
