More ambitious, bigger and better than its predecessor, Extraction 2 doubles on everything the first film did right, and it doesn't miss.
Spectacular, breathtaking action sequences that have you at the edge of your seat (specially a 21 minute one shot scene) directed magnificently by Sam Hargrave; entertainment secured for 2 hours that fly by, and Chris Hemsworth being a badass (and giving Tyler the charisma and complexity needed).
A great and very, very enjoyable action film that will definitely please fans of the genre.

One of the best beginnings of a saga/trilogy ever, I’m still not over how well it handles being the presentation card with the thrills you wouldn’t associate to a first film. Also the rewatchability levels are insane. Very excited to keep going with my rewatch of the trilogy.

One of the most uninspired, bland movies I have seen this year. Hit man is easily the least interesting Linklater has ever been. Nothing fails miserably but nothing really works either. This movie is just a series of things and events going on that do not entertain me or make me have fun. Ironic; the movie is called Hit man but the fun never hits. Doesn’t help that the actual plot of the movie based off of what the trailers…

To say there was massive hype and expectations for Dune Part Two is an understatement. So is saying Villeneuve surpassed them, because what he has accomplished here is so enormous I feel like 5 stars is just not enough.
We must see and cherish Dune Part Two as the brother of an already magnificent first movie, as an adaptation, as a key part of an unfolding saga and as a film of its own. Most movies drown when there’s so…

I wanted to absolutely love Nosferatu, and in certain ways I did, yet overall I can’t say it was a masterpiece for me. But hey, it was still a very good film! The problem nowadays is that apparently everything has to be a masterpiece or the worst film ever, when there’s so so much in between
Eggers making gothic horror is a dream come true: the atmosphere and the visuals of Nosferatu are absolutely gorgeous, with perhaps the best cinematography…

It’s no secret that I don’t like the first Inside Out. I love the premise and the worldbuilding, but the story itself…Joy and Sadness are too annoying to be the main characters, the rest of the emotions are sidelined, and the adventure feels formulaic and mechanic.
However, I did like Inside Out 2; a lot indeed! It perfectly uses and expands the established world and it feels so fresh thanks to the arrival of the new emotions, specially Anxiety, the…

In an era in which most Hollywood movies with big stars in front and behind the camera seem to be franchises extended just for cash or biopics, Challengers represents a triumph not only as a filmmaking masterpiece from Luca Guadagnino, but as a representation of the freshness and originality cinema can and should give.
Guadagnino has a phenomenal script to work with, and he turns it into an unpredictable, mesmerizing passion match between three players; the holy trinity, the most…

Alien Romulus uses the pattern established by other legacy sequels like The Force Awakens, Jurassic World and Halloween to bring back the franchise after the unfair poor reception of Covenant. It brings audiences back to what made them first fall in love with the saga to then introduce new ideas, freshness and a definitely original film that relies on the past to make sure the originality is better received. To me it works, and while I get some of the remake…

A crazy movie set in an even crazier (and beautifully made) world with an even crazier, if that is even possible, main character: Poor Things is a weird, funny and clever journey in which we follow the story of Bella Baxter, played by Emma Stone in an absolutely delightful and eccentric performance, and how she discovers the functioning of the world. Lanthimos doesn’t miss on the satire, his territory, with dialogues always on point that are equally funny and reflexive,…
