Wes Craven did it again. It's official that Scream franchise has zero bad films and Sidney Prescott is the most powerful protagonist in horror films! I liked this better than the third. This one reintroduces itself to new generation, brings fresh ideas to the franchise and effortlessly blends those freshness with some nostalgia. It definitely lacks some of the humor of the originals but I loved the direction this one took with the meta approach. It's mostly unpredictable and has a lot of twists and turns. I love the new and returning characters, love all the horror film references, nice to see Pegg & Frost made an appearance. I was laughing hysterically when I saw Robert Rodriguez name as a director of Stab! It's been a great time watching all sequels, now I'm ready for Scream (2022)!
