As someone who knows the difficulties of disability, loss of insight, and that panic that comes with change, Sound of Metal strikingly moves through its plot quickly and well-formed cinematic language with such a topic.

A drummer starts to lose his hearing and is thrown into a freefall. Which is the main synopsis. I believe it contrasts with helplessness, grief, and other conscious efforts within the main protagonist, and this film style were very well made.

Honestly, I do not know how Charlie Sheen is still alive.

I remember the 'winning' era when he got fired and those conspiracy theories. Even getting me one of those/winning/ t-shirts too.

Long story short everyone on that Two and Half Men set really knew he was an addict and had issues. Even giving him the $2 million per episode deal while knowing he would party so hard and come to work anyway. I never felt bad for the crew…
