Gaurav Madan’s 12x12 is an unhurried portrayal of the changing times, set in the oldest city in the country. A death photographer is the POV of the tale; but unlike Masaan, its approach to life, death, and everything in between feels a little stilted. The chapters are congruent with the central narrative, but never truly feel that they are impacting the same wisdom upon us as the overall themes here.

A lovely, melancholic stroll down the love that coulda, shoulda, woulda. If you are on a strict - one romantic movie a year diet, make sure that this is the one.
