    Absolutely harrowing footage coming out of Ukraine fill this documentary. It does not shy away from showing graphic and disturbing imagery, which might keep it away from some people, which is a shame because this is essential viewing.

    My last log of 2023 will be this sweet short doc. I don’t fully understand what Nalini does as a living, but I was fascinated every step of the way. Every time she climbs her rope or just lovingly gazes at a tree, I was enamoured.

    Nothing says you didn’t commit some atrocious police brutality like running away from the shooting you just started. Like, so cowardly by these police to profile and do jack shit to help the public. Well made documentary, really shows how powerful a tool editing is. Body cameras should be on at all times. The moment when they all turn off is just horrendous.

    I can’t understand the choice the subject of this documentary makes. My personal feelings aside, I still think it’s a well shot documentary, maybe a little too well shot. It feels so staged and impersonal.

    Yeahhhh, like I say in all my reviews for beloved movies that I don’t rate so highly: I think I get why people love this. But I am not one of those people. I found this movie to be quite messy, from the way it was shot, to the plot, and the performances that were awful because of how over the top they are.
