I was nervous about the POV technique in the begining, but once you settle in it really works magic. Heard Ross give an interview where he said he wanted the camera to function as an organ, an extension of the body, and the result is truly engrossing.
Fascinating and fitting that a photographer/documentarian would make such a formally audacious exercise in perspective that is also a critique of the camera and how it fixes Black people in its gaze.
