I finally got around to seeing this folks!
I thought this was an insanely good take on this story. I'm a sucker for Eggers and I love what he can do with light shading to establish degree of intensity. Amazing shadow work and talk of Orlok being "a shape" was spot on for me. Love the wicked off the rails scenes. At times I forgot this was Bill Skarsgård behind the makeup. His voice was a little irritating at times…
