Eggers is an absolute monster when it's about giving attention to details of photography in relation to his screenwriting. Every frame helped setting the atmosphere, from the greatness of the mountains and the forests in Transylvania (which, as Plato said, is the literal definition of sublime – something that is so beautiful but also terrifying and causes dizziness) to the involvement of the spectator through the eyes of the characters. Such a mesmerising experience. Wonderful job from the cast too,…
