the third act was really really cool especially the eclipse scene.
one of my pet peeves happen to be when prequels (or sequels even) do nothing to expand on the original version. here we learn nothing new about veronica and the entity in the previous film. there's no explanation if that's why you're here. that's not entirely terrible, the mystery keeps it scary and curious. but sister death could as well be a standalone without the last few minutes suddenly…
