Utterly breathtaking. Seeing it in a sold out theater, projected in 35mm, was an amazing experience. Could’ve been like 20 minutes shorter though. And Billy Crystal was easily my favorite part of the cast

I didn’t really love Joker(2019). I found it to be a lesser version of its influences, which include Taxi Driver and King of Comedy, both Martin Scorsese classics. Now, in 2024, Todd Phillips reunited with Phoenix for Folie à Deux, the highly anticipated sequel. This time, they also bring in Lady Gaga to play Harley Quinn.

The Alien films, or at least the first two, do an incredible job at showing how the everyday, average worker gets exploited by the more powerful corporation. There’s one moment in Romulus that really sticks out in that regard, and if you’ve seen it, you probably know what I’m talking about.
