]]>My dream came true today of watching a Upendra directed movie in theatre and I'm gonna cherish this moment forever now. UI is full of up's and down's and coming from my favourite director, I'd expected better from him.
It's got a very good concept coming from the great mind of Upendra but the execution part of it wasn't that good and it was even laughbly bad at some moments with how fake the scenary looked. The opening 20-25 minutes is fantastic but after that they tried to throw everything the focus got a little blurry with what he wants to convey and this annoyed me a little.
At one point it had too much going on screen and some unnecessary things in the movie which made no point in being there at the first place. Upendra here was absolutely amazing with his signature style of conveying emotions such as anger, happyness, sadness and fear through his eyes alone with the characters he portrays and that is the beauty of UI.
I may be in the minority here but the songs in it are absolutely fuckin' bangers and the way Upendra placed them in the movie is brilliant and the songs being an integral part to the story is just great and also the lyrics being written by our REAL STAR UPPI is just cherry on top of the cake, well not all of them but still it's worth mentioning.
The UI theme is a banger and everytime they played it got me fuckin' hyped the fuck up! I did feel that Uppi tried to showcase this deep message in a very commerical way. It is not like him to have so many fight sequences but i enjoyed them so not gonna complain about that.
Even tho the execution was bad, I gotta give them some credits for some of the shots that look so beautiful and camera doing 360° turns was pretty great during that conversation.
Overall, I liked the movie to some extent and it did deliver on it's message but it was dumbed down with all the spoon feeding and all, which did some diservice to his og fans but it's still watchable for Uppi's fans who will surely appreciate his work here, not nearly close to being as great as A, Om and Upendra; which remain my favourite Uppi directed movies till date.
P.S:- It's been 24 hours since I saw the movie and it still hasn't left my mind yet, I just keep thinking about this movie and how impactful it is. Even tho the execution was not great, but the thought provoking content is so strong that even after the credits rolled it's still lingering in my mind and still finding new details in some scenes is the brilliance of Upendra and for that I'm gonna add an extra star.

I enjoyed this holiday special of GOTG, it is filled with with the holiday spirit and heart. Loved the duo of Drax and Mantis, they make a very cool and funny combo, i think it’s the most underrated duo of the Guardians and it was a nice change that they showcased them during this special. The runtime was absolutely perfect and it could’ve went on for 10 more minutes and i wouldn’t have complained one bit. The opening christmas song is unironically so good, i would definitely go out of my way to listen to that song once again. It has a lot of humours moments throughout this and even in smaller scenes of other Guardian members is a treat to watch. Groot got the best christmas gift of all time. Perfect movie to watch on Christmas Eve!

I found Chapter II a tad bit better than the first part, mainly due to all the major events taking place in the second part and overall it really left me satisfied more than the previous part. I also found the voice acting a bit better here also, idk how i started liking it a bit more in this compared to part one, first the visuals and now the voice acting. I think it maybe due to watching these in such short span which has me feeling this type of way. VA felt better here & when you pair it with Watchmen storyline, it boded well.
Now coming to the story side of things, this was so good. Rorschach’s jail break sequence is so goated. I still remember the bathroom scene where the door keeps swinging and we see Rorschach get closer to the poor bad guy crawling into the corner with nowhere to go and the door’s swinging starts to slow is cinematic masterpiece, sadly that scene was not in this which made me a little disappointed and also that jail sequence has one of the most badass fuckin’ line ever put in a movie.

]]>Sanath’s Journal: December 21st, 2024. 8:18 PM.
It follows the Zack Snyder’s version frame-to-frame so there was nothing new story wise and the voice acting was okay, not that impactful. Visual's were good but i would’ve preferred the hand drawn 2D animation to the CG-animation. The score is really amazing and it did a lot to enhance the scenes. I basically fell in love with this movie due to one character and that is Rorschach—his investigative skills are top notch and the mask is pretty cool also. The va for his character was not upto the mark.
The story is pretty great so all these flaws could be ignored and i pretty much enjoyed it as it had been so many years since i saw Snyder’s Watchmen. I had my expectations low and it fared pretty well. I loved the bits of “Tales of the Black Freighter” that got introduced during the half way point of the story, it was refreshing addition to the overall story. Beginning of it, i wasn’t really a huge fan of the visuals but as it went on it really grew on me very much, it really added to the overall vibe the movie was going for.
]]>Yeah…human bean juice.
Good day so far? Today, tomorrow, yesterday, it’s all the same.
]]>The title doesn’t do this movie justice which is due to the humour only being present during the first half where the moments were truly laughable sequences. The second half is really boring and it kinda ruined the good and heartfelt flow it had in the beginning, it’s all downhill from the point they introduce Diganth into the mix of the story, he's a good actor but his character arc wasn’t fleshed out properly.
The cast did a very good job but the material was too weak and no matter how good the actor is but if the writing is weak then the end product will not be that impactful as i would’ve liked to see. Pramod Bhatt as Govardhan is excellent and he’s character starts off as this jolly good guy who loves doing what he does then when the reality kicks in and they delve into the overweight arc it gets a little dull.
Pramod really made this movie better with his great performance and really showing his skills off in a very beautiful way. Diganth is good but his character was not properly handled at all which did kinda hamper his performance, Teju who played the role of Pramod’s wife didn’t had a whole lot to do here but she was particularly good in the few scenes she does appear and she aces it with ease.
The main reason i didn’t really like the second half is due to convict being transferred to a policeman's house to extract information about the money which is so absurd and weird, it took me out of a movie for a little bit. Songs were good and they didn’t break the flow of the movie. Overall, I'd say it’s an meh film which showed some potential in the beginning but ended up being forgetful and boring.
]]>ಸರ್ ಇವತ್ತು ದೋಸೆ ಇಲ್ಲಾ sorry...ಅಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ರಜೆ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ ಸರ್?
I love Priyadarshan’s comedy of errors type movies and this is no different than his other movies, it includes many comedic elements, iconic meme moments and a whole lot of fun. Paresh Rawal absolutely steals the spotlight as Radheysham Tiwari, truly a goated character which made the movie even better. Neeraj Vohra’s great writing helps this movie a lot and this duo is truly special, it starts off rather slow in establishing some things and introducing the main characters of the movie which may feel boring but when it gets going, it’s incredibly fun. Rajpal Yadav as Raja was so good, despite having a small role in it he made an huge impact. Akshaye and Aftab were also good but Akshaye as Jeetu overshadowed Nandu imo.
It’s all good but the songs in it aren’t that great and the first two songs are basically them imagining those things, it honestly felt like they didn’t need to be in this as they make no difference in the story as the onscreen relationship could’ve been executed without the songs. I did however like the song which played at the birthday party by Shaan, it was the only good song in the entire movie. The entire cast did a good job but the runtime tampered my experience a little bit as some of scenes felt unnecessary and they could’ve easily trimmed 20 minutes from the movie. The final act is so funny as everything came together and that huge brawl was so worth it. Overall, I would say it’s a decent movie with some great characters.
]]>Babu Bisleri naam hai mera.
Arey tho kya karu nahaahun!
Taron Egerton, i'm a fan! Woooo, what an intense performance by him, loved every bit of it and was nerve racking. It sheds a light on how challenging of task it is for the TSA to handle passengers before take-off and then including this mystery Traveler into it to intense the situation up by forcing Ethan to let a dangerous item slip onto a Christmas Eve flight was integrated very nicely. Those intense moments were so good when the Traveler and Ethan have a back and fourth, it’s all about who can out smart who here with the stakes being upped by having a lot people’s lives on the line here. Listening to Jason Bateman talk casually felt really therapeutic to me, fabulous performance by him with some comedic elements.
It is very nicely paced and it just kept getting better and better as the minutes went by and the performances of the cast are noteworthy as they do a very convincing performance. The writing felt a little laughable at some moments but overall i enjoyed it very much and didn’t went into this thinking it would be a very smart movie where every decision makes sense. The fight between Elena Cole and Agent Alcott in the car while Last Christmas plays on the radio was easily the best part of the movie, it was funny, intense, action packed and most importantly came out of nowhere and it left a mark with me. My only gripe with this movie is that ending felt little dull with how everything went down it could’ve been better.
]]>I can do hard.
Ram Gopal Varma really has this unique talent to extract stellar performances from actors who are not upto that level, it’s truly commendable talent to have. Ajay Devgn truly shines here as Mallik and he really puts forth an amazing performance and it made the film even more better and even Vivek Oberoi shines here as Chandu despite this being his debut, it didn’t feel like it at all and he was good addition. Mohanlal felt a bit weak compared to the duo, but still he did a decent job and he had an impressive commanding screen presence in the little screen time he did get in this he did a decent job at it. I love it when RGV shows the aftermath before and then we are left wondering why this happened and then when we get to know the backstory it all makes the perfect sense, cool way to grab attention at the beginning.
Company has everything from inventive camera angels, shoot outs, bloodshed and a whole lot of gun violence. The tension is so real when they had to take those quick decisions which might ruin there life or make it better was executed perfectly, RGV is a master at this. It has a very strong story about underworld gang politics and how they operate—the rise and fall of this is shown very well here and realistic. The screenplay felt a little bit weak at times and i lost interest in some parts and RGV quickly got my attention back when the dynamics starts to change and from that point the movie goes into an a different gear, it went up a notch and it was basically flawless from that point. Songs were okay and some felt like they didn’t belong in this but the bgm was nice touch to it which was very good and memorable.
]]>You know, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
]]>I was very much looking forward to watching this movie solely for it’s plot and also it featuring Alia Bhatt made my expectations even more high now and that poster reveal and the teaser trailer completely sold me on this movie, sadly i missed the theatrical experience for this one which would’ve amplified my cinema experience. Even tho i watched it at home it was still a delightful experience. Vasan Bala’s amazing direction and cinematography really hooked me completely and immersed me into the beautiful sister-brother bond that was so special.
Alia Bhatt showcasing her acting masterclass in this one, it’s an impactful portrayal of a character Satya who’s hell bent on saving her brother Ankur who’s been wrongfully accused of a crime that he has not committed. Her trying to save her brother almost felt like poetic justice. The sister-brother bond is shown in a such a unique and beautiful manner that the jail break plot takes a backseat for this and at first i thought this would definitely hamper my experience a lot as that was the main reason or one of the reason for the my excitement but it didn’t hamper it at all and i'm glad as the emotions they were going were hitting all the right spots. The cinematography is so beautiful and the colour pallet is very vibrant and beautiful. Those night shots are well articulated and executed perfectly. I feel like Vasan Bala has many pop culture references hidden in this movie and being able to notice them was a fun experience. For example:- Satya standing on the balcony with her hands held behind her back minus the gun which reminded me of Sarfarosh movie poster. The director namedrop was dope as hell and i'm glad i caught that little detail too. The songs in it are too good, chef's kiss—“Tenu Sang Rakhna” and “Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka” are bangers and every time they play these two it elevates the scene so much. Music truly acts as a catalyst to add more emotion to the scene. However, the movie does slow down in the second half and things don’t really feel important until we get to the 3rd act which is meh tbh, they should’ve went with more of a bang but overall, it’s still very good and almost everyone plays there part with 100% dedication.
]]>I’m wrong. I never claimed to be ethical. What I am is Ankur’s sister.
The Hitcher is a well made horror, action and thriller movie which definitely maintains the tension from start to finish and it keeps ramping up the tension as we go along. The last 20 minutes is so intense, holy shit that was absolute insanity and seeing it for the first time immersed me into it even more. The tension is really built up very well and the runtime is perfect.
This is my second movie of Rutger Hauer, who’s an absolute menace in this one. Hauer’s performance as the hitchhiker turned psychotic obsessed killer is a standout—delivering a menacing, chilling and creepy portrayal of the character John Ryder. C. Thomas Howell here however isn’t that promising as the protagonist, he still does good not horrible tho.
I absolutely enjoyed this very much and the concept was handled with much care but i couldn’t help but notice that during the last act, the scene just cuts to black and i didn’t necessarily like that as they have shown gore before that so why not that. It felt like a weird choice to show some gore and not. The car chase sequence is my favourite.

]]>Curve is a grueling tension filled and anxiety indusing short film clocking in at just under 10 minutes which is amazing and a very thought provoking content.
]]>This had potential to be very good but the inconsistent script and screenplay at some point during the movie let it down. Jimmy Shergill and Avinash Tiwary did a fantastic job in this, they elevated this mediocre script and added some interesting elements into it. I liked Neeraj Pandey’s earlier works like Special 26 and Baby but recently he has really lost his touch on the genre where he used to have a massive grip over it.
Story is the main reason this didn’t reach it’s potential and they could’ve improved it but the cinematography was very good and the shot composition was a nice touch, the slowly panning out and in shots are beautiful and add a unique sauce to it. It started off pretty great but couldn’t keep me interested with stuff after that and the whole past and present storyline should’ve been handled better and with more care.
Sikandar is really a lucky man, dude had 3 girls madly in love for him. The scenes with him and Jaswinder were good for the most part as they felt special and they don’t over do it to maintain that intensity. I felt all the 3 woman in Sikandar’s life to be given more stuff to make the bond more meaningful and impactful. This has massive pacing issues and run time of it doesn’t do it any favour. This didn’t need any songs tho but they weren’t necessarily bad either.
The last act felt terribly long and uninteresting as the many twists and turns in this movie felt predictable and had me yawning throughout the movie due to it’s long run time. The ending left me disappointed tbh, i would’ve loved some sort of clarity but it just bad and idk what they were trying to achieve with that ending as it fell flat on it’s face and i felt i wasted my time by watching this. It needs some solid reasoning as to why they went with this route.

I love rags to riches type story and this was one of them with an amazing execution, delving deep in showing us the rise of Baskhar Kumar, he’s rise to the top is so beautiful to see. The cinematography was great, it had all those vibes from 1900’s and it even looked apart and offered a unique style. It immerses the audience into the world of Bombay from that era very nicely from the get go.
It starts off great and the story is told through switching between past and present which is a good thing and does it with simplicity. Venky Atluri’s writing was so great in this, truly a commendable job. This is evident in the characterisation of Baskhar and being portrayed by Dulquer Salmaan felt like cherry on top of the cake with his splendid acting masterclass. The shot of Bhaskar running on the top of the cargo ship with the camera slowly panning out was a beautiful shot that signified the quick changes that are happening in his life and how he’s dealing with all of those changes which have a positive and negative impact on his life.
I wish this would’ve gone the complete serious tone route but the check point fiasco felt like it was not at all needed and there way of adding some comedic elements in that sequence felt unnecessary and unfunny as this is not a movie for all that. They don’t need to cater to a certain audience for some laughs as this is not a movie for that but other than it everything was pretty great about this movie. The songs however are okay, they don’t necessarily break the flow of the movie and some even feel like i would listen to them in my free time so not many complaints in that department either.
My interest peaked during 1 hour and 11 minutes mark as we get into the bank stuff more with the introduction of the chairman of the bank and tense situation is so well executed with amazing BGM that gets your heart going, these situations are what makes these crime drama movies so special. There’s this one particular dialogue in this movie that hit home for me which is “Earning money was once a necessity for you. But now, it’s your guilty pleasure” god damn this stuff is so great and perfectly encapsulates Baskhar’s current scenario so well.
I like how the character of Baskhar’s went through different phases of life in this movie, from being nice, humble, loving family man who has a high moral compass to being this arrogant version of himself who thinks he can do anything with unfathomable amount of money but changing to a version of himself that his family can’t understand who this person is was great and him realising what’s wrong and right was a needed change to his character which is so grounded in reality.
Meenakshi Chaudhary was a nice addition to the movie as Baskhar’s wife Sumathi, previously seen in The Greatest of All Time in which she didn’t get a whole lot to do but here she was amazing and added that emotional support to Baskhar when needed.
The ending was impactful and it did definitely help leave a mark and Lucky Baskhar truly showed us he’s an Lucky Bas*@₹d by playing that master stroke at the end which was shocking enough.
]]>My name is BASKHA₹.
It’s an interesting plot which is basically the same concept as Coherence but the execution part was questionable here with having a lot of potential but they just couldn’t tap into it completely, this doesn’t pack the punch that i was so dearly wished and coming to some positives is that i liked how they changed the aspect ratio when there in 1964 (past) and present is the normal aspect ratio used in all of the films which was a nice touch, acting is good for the most part to make things believable and the concept if “Super Moon” was intriguing for me and that statue was scary. The negatives would definitely be the two songs which ruin the vibe of the movie, they should just sticked to the story instead—i know the first song is still progressing the story ahead and there’s some things going on in the party but it doesn’t stay for too long and those 2 goons who were set up in the beginning don’t do anything noteworthy throughout the entire movie, so there characters feel worthless which added nothing to the movie than waste our time. The real fun begins when the couple enter the Coastal Paradise Villa, the look of that villa from the above gave me massive Vivarium vibes with how every house looked the same and roads felt identical where a person can get lost easily, they show this shot many times during the movie and it was good. It’s a smooth but confusing ride when they start realising what’s really happening and how this all works, finding ways to get out of that was the fun part but that also doesn’t last very long, the climax didn’t do justice and i feel the makers chose a easy way out to end it, easily this would’ve been more fun had it been explored all the different timelines and so much more. The exposition part near the end where a character starts explaining how it works all that which got boring quick for and took me out of the movie. I would suggest watching Coherence instead of this.
]]>Audition starts with Shigeharu Aoyama with his wife Ryoko on her death bed, seven years after her demise Shigeharu seeks advice from his colleague Yasuhisa Yoshikawa taking advantage of their position as a film company, they stage an audition. At this point is where the movie starts to get interesting when Shigeharu comes across the quiet woman called Asami Yamazaki but only after this meeting everything goes to shit in Shigeharu’s life, the countless dream-esque sequences which are scattered throughout the movie was a very nice touch and i also liked how it’s not only physical torture but he’s also mentally being harassed which honestly takes this movie a notch up for me, things take such a twisted turn that it almost felt like a different type of movie compared to the first half. I love how both the first half and second come together so beautifully, it’s mesmerising to watch. It was nice to see how this movie took a brutal turn and that entire second half was a big highlight for me.
Despite many warnings by Yoshikawa to Shigeharu, he doesn’t listen to his friend at all as he’s deeply in love with Yamazaki, he does however confirm some of things that Yoshikawa has said to him about the Director Shibata and after that is all sorted but Yoshikawa’s thought still lingers in his mind and he does try to avoid her a lil’ bit but ig my man was committed to being together with her as he just couldn’t stay away from her, he calls her and that scene where Yamazaki near the phone with a slight smile, that was terrifying moment. The calm before the storm was very good, it had me thinking that everything is going great with a great atmosphere but there’s something wrong with that i just couldn’t grasp it very well. The entire first hour is very slow paced and it feels very calm and composed but Yamazaki’s character brought that uneasiness during the first half which creates this feeling of fear that something is definitely wrong and also wondering why is she so mysterious, what’s her goal, why are these dream-esque sequences scattered throughout the movie like her near the telephone and creeping behind the window.
The second half was brutal indeed but since i saw Ichi the killer, i had high hopes for it and it did not live up to my expectations a lot honestly, i still would prefer ITK over this. The constant switch between reality and dream was great but this 3rd act seemed overhyped to me. Ryo Ishibashi and Eihi Shiina killed it with there absolutely amazing performance, they elevated the movie and had a great on screen presence, Eihi with her silent but psychotic character—never know what move she gonna make was terrifying but beautiful. I hope Miike had given a little bit more brutality and torture, i would’ve liked it more definitely but this is still good and it’s pretty good and very much different from his previous films. I’m just thinking that maybe if i had lowered my expectations then i would've enjoyed the 3rd act more but still pretty great stuff from Takashi Miike, this had it’s whole different vibe to it. Asami Yamazaki’s backstory was handled pretty well and the actors did a fine ass job also just wish that second half would’ve lasted longer than it originally did. I will definitely be giving this a rewatch and gonna see if my opinion on it changes.
]]>Living is another way of reaching death.
Ichi the killer more like Ichi the incel. This movie had almost everything from gore, brutality, unimaginable torture sequences, action, bloody rooms with head on the floor and arm at the door and not to mention a lot of blood spread which looked so bloody amazing. I was mostly here for some mindless action but to my surprise it had an plot and it was an interesting plot with some twists that grabbed my attention back for the entire run time which was 129 minutes, which at first seemed a lot but the screenplay was spectacular—it did not let me be bored for a minute, so i had no problem with it whatsoever and enjoyed it.
It had some over the top violence and sexual violence too which was too much for me which made me a lil’ bit uncomfortable to watch and made me look away from the screen a few times but other than that it was pretty badass. Cinematography was absolutely beautiful by Hideo Yamamoto, it depicted Japan in all of it’s glory very well, aesthetically i'm very much impressed by Hideo’s work. Plot twist was very good and it came at the right moment, i was kinda getting somewhat bored but when the twist happened it got me hooked even more to the film, kudos to that as it was legit surprising for me.
Sakichi Sato who did the screenplay for this is another thing that was top tier, he played it in a very slow paced way but it has it’s cool moments that won’t let you get bored for even a minute. It is based upon the manga of the same name and i like to think Takashi Miike did justice to the material as it came out so good. Everything from the acting to brutal moments elevated each other so much. The silent moments truly spoke volumes during some of the scenes. That title card drop is so fucking funny and iconic, it’s gonna live in my mind rent free until i find a way to delete it from my memory xD. The characters are amazing and i have to say Kakihara was the best dressed character and also my favourite character from this movie, dude had an insane aura around him and his flamboyant personality made me like him a lot, Kakihara was dripping all over the floor with his vibrant clothes. This is my first movie by Takashi Miike and i'm already more interested in diving deep into his filmography and expecting it will be more brutal than this.

]]>BAGHEERA is a decent commendable job on trying to create a superhero character like batman but the screenplay was not very good and the music doesn’t helps in this case, it used to get good in some segments but then in boring the next part, Vedant/Bagheera’s character could’ve been more fleshed out and his backstory was not convincing enough for me, maybe a better writer could’ve done justice to this character. The story is that same good vs evil type story, fighting against the system and delivering justice to the people who were wronged by them. Vedant turning into Bagheera moment could’ve been done without that setting themselves on fire sequence as it felt very forced change and it should have been done better as we have seen these things so much in movies, it’s getting boring and painfully predictable now. Rukmini Vasanth yet again feels like her character was not utilised pretty well—her introduction has sparked an interest in me as her character had potential to be great addition but they butchered her character so hard, when we got to see less and less of her, i got disappointed and the little screen time she does get she is amazing in it and the chemistry between her and Sriimurali was good for the most part. Vedant and Prabhakar confrontation scene where he gets to know his father is not all so righteous is defining moment of his character that liked, very well executed scene.
The final look of Bagheera and also him creating this with his little team to make him gadgets and how he meets them was not great, he basically gets handed everything. The mask looked a bit similar to the one Krish wears as it also breaks and that look is evident here. It technically didn’t particularly help Bagheera in hiding his identity well and the whole process to find Bagheera was laughably bad like he’s right in front of you and you choose to ignore, bad writing istg. That whole arc with Prakash Raj was the boring stuff honestly. The fight sequence were good and there’s a lotta of blood, flying heads and hands which doesn’t necessarily looked good as it’s cgi. It is noticeable in some scenes and i wish they had done a better job at that. The acting performance was good honestly, so many talented actors and they deliver but the material here is weak so even tho they are giving 100% it doesn’t feel like it hits due to weak material. In the final showdown fight sequence the train sound was overpowering the background score, it is even more evident in Bagheera and Rana fighting upon the train. Coming to music it was hit or miss for me, it did fee like it broke the flow of the movie for me in some instances. The animation during end credits was a nice touch. Bagheera BGM is nice and added to the fight scene in elevating it, kills are good and fight scenes are the saving grace of the movie and the acting which makes it watchable.

]]>Bhairathi Ranagal is a prequel to Mufti. This story delves deep into the story of the character Bhairathi Ranagal, coming out of Mufti it was that one character who i was more interested in throughout the whole movie and how that character came to be and this movie did justice to that character. Shivanna had an amazing screen presence and those mass scenes we're so fuckin' good, i enjoyed the hell out of those fight sequences and those close up shots of Shivanna elevate those scenes so much, I'd honestly wouldn't put this movie at the same level as Mufti, as Mufti is in a league of it's own but still this movie held it's own. As a standalone movie also it works pretty well and the characters in it are also good but not everything was great, Rahul Bose as Pranade was not a strong enough villian against Ranagal, Rahul did still good tho with what he was given. Rukmini Vasanth wasn't utilised very well and I had hoped she would play an integral role in this movie but that didn't happen. Interval block was insane and shockingly epic which perfectly depicts the character diving deep into darkness after that point.
The songs in it are good and they don't end up ruining the movie for me as they were genuinely good song and the placement of these songs is literally perfect. I did notice some faults tho like some CGI water even tho there was really water flowing they still thought of using that and blood in some cases with some weird looking head that was ended up in a box, other than these i enjoyed it and half packed theatre indeed gave me a very great theatre experience. The shouting and hooting during Shivanna scenes was mind blowing. The emoticons that Shivanna conveys through his eyes is absolutely amazing and breathtaking, i wouldn't even mind if this had more mass scenes as it the story being told was needed for those scenes. This movie is making me wanna rewatch Mufti so bad now, i hope it ages better. From fighting people in the court legally to fighting people illegally but the end goal of both these is to provide for his people of Ronapur and deliver Justice, which btw looks absolutely surrel, amazing and raw; shoutout to the cinematographer for that amazing view. Plot is predictable but the screenplay is very good as there are no moments of emptiness and storyline is always going from one point to another point, an insane journey to say the least.
I wish the end fight scenes would've been more better as it left me kinda unsatisfied in a way and they could've used more hype moments in the movie along with some character being written better and they could've have made more impact on the story and Narathan tied this movie with Mufti very well. Shivanna opening his closet on what to wear is like Peter Parker trying to decide whether to wear the black suit or the red and black one, that visual sent chills down my spine and immediately thought of the scene. Theatre experience for this definitely made me enjoy it more than i do and Shivanna is the heart and soul of this movie and he did great justice to the role of Bhairathi Ranagal.
