    If I was alive for chat rooms, my screen name would also be RoxyGurl20. 

    I love the movie genre  ‘a night gone wrong.’ Superbad, Booksmart, The Hangover, and now, Y2K. 

    For me this missed the mark just a bit. I wanted it to be a bit more raunchy, or a faster pace, or even a bit weirder. It felt like it couldn’t quite commit to an undertone. 

    The awkward dialogue was perfect. 

    Kyle Mooney is one of my faves, and I’ll be there for any career move he makes.

    When we need Lin Manuel Miranda the most, Disney couldn’t write him a check big enough. Instead we got the lyric “come on-a Moana.” 

    I like Moana’s new outfit and her magic tattoos. I like that they aged her up a bit. I like that Pua got to tag along this time, and her boat crew was fun.

    The shot of Moana reaching out for the island while the lightning is about to strike her is really cool.

    Once I got the symbolism, this really hit home. The main girl is at least part 'pig' or German, and you can tell from her nose and how it turns pink. The actions of the people who came before her overtake her mind.

    I like that the pig plays the good guy, the bad guy, and a reflection of the little girl at times. It changes symbolism many times.
