I must confess that I am not an overly huge fan of movie biopics. I often find them to be self indulgent, overwritten, and/or maudlin affairs. For every great biopic like “My Left Foot” and “Ed Wood”, you have dozens of poor ones like “Amelia” and “Jobs”. Amadeus belongs in the former group. In fact, I would even argue that it sits alongside Goodfellas as one of the greatest biopics of all time.

Fans of Clifford might like this film because it's faithful to its source material, but will likely be disappointed. People new to Clifford will very likely hate this film for being so vacuous.
So the Pied Piper steals the kids, and all the townspeople do is glare at the cheap mayor? What kind of sick movie is this? Maybe the parents are secretly happy the kids are gone? I need to know what happens next!
Now that this is on Netflix, I expect to watch it at least a half dozen times before the year is out.
The trailer for this was excellent, and to be honest, it looks great. It was actually supposed to be released in 2019, then it was supposed to be released in May of 2023. Now there is no news to be had.
I have a feeling that either Disney quashed this one into oblivion, or it's part of an elaborate prank on the part of Steve Oedekerk. The website offers no details either.
