Still a big fan second time around. Some stuff I noticed this time, 

Jupe claims he and Gordy had the first ever exploding fist bump. When we actually see them about to fist bump, Gordy’s head explodes. 

The dichotomy of Jupe and OJ, how they both approach the opportunity for “the shot” and their understanding of animals is a really special part of the film.

The TMZ guy feels like the cherry on top driving home this theme of spectacle, down to begging OJ to film his broken body instead of helping himself. 

The funhouse vibes from the alien. How rubbery and silicone it sounds and apparently feels, how very snakelike it is, down to gorging itself to death. 

Just an extreme joy, the more I understand some of the films subtext in regards to filmmaking, the more I love Nope. It’s so funny that OJ wears and reps the Scorpion King of all movies. Love hearing Exuma in a movie this big.
