Really random and ridiculous, it’s sorta fun, but also feels a bit like a waste of time. No real drama or stakes, it’s super lighthearted to the point it’s practically whimsical. It’s disappointing given the cast and director that it’s not better than it is. Kinda feels like a random Adam Sandler comedy where it’s mainly an excuse to get paid and hang out in beautiful locations. Still some charm here and there primarily in the dialogue.
It was funny that Mrs. Chelm was crying wolf the whole film but ultimately was pretty spot on with the truth.
