Solid, if uneven. Above the Rim may not have the best performances in every scene, but it has plenty of enjoyable ones nonetheless. Even in weaker scenes, charisma abounds in a way most movies can’t relate. While there’s cliche’s like most sports films, I’m a sucker for basketball, and many of these actors. Might watch a few other Tupac movies soon.
