Showed this to a room full of friends over the weekend, almost all of whom were skeptical to one degree or another (but most of whom had open hearts and open minds). My heart sank when I didn’t see many smiles or laughs in the first 30 minutes, but by the end, there were audible belly laughs at almost every gag.

I make movies, I write movies, I teach movies, and I watch movies. I may seem generous with my ratings, but that’s because I am. My thoughts can get rather long sometimes, but they’re for me first and foremost to help me remember my initial reaction after watching something.
