I have to say that I'm a little bit predisposed to liking this, what with Nic Cage playing an unhinged, satan-worshipping serial killer and all, but man was this my jam. Going to save my complete thoughts for another watch through, but going to a 9:15pm showing in a premium format and it being nearly SOLD OUT was an insane experience. Kudos to Neon for getting creative with the marketing campaign, it looks like it really paid off. I hope Oz Perkins gets a blank check from Neon after this, and I hope Nic Cage and Maika Monroe get the attention they deserve because everyone involved was fantastic.
