    Chicken Run without Mel Gibson. What could be better?

    Truly, a strong movie about people tapped in an unthinkable situation. Could not recommend more. Also, highly recommend listening to the (free) Scriptnotes episode interviewing Sarah Polley, as well as the (free) We Can Do Hard Things's episode interviewing Sarah Polley. Both, from their different perspectives, gave me a huge appreciation for the story and film's production.

    I was on the crew and was still surprised (blown away) by the film. I suspect editing.

    Shout out to the costume designer who sewed a priest's robe from a funeral pall in an hour in a church office on set after someone damaged the original wardrobe.

    Merced is an incredibly talented director. It's a beautiful film.
