    Ridley Scott's best film in a long time. While I do find the Rashomon comparison somewhat warranted, it also elides a key difference between the two, namely, that Rashomon never put its thumb on the scale as to which version of events to believe. If anything, this film was a good dramatization of why sexual crimes/sins are so difficult to adjudicate. And of course, the final duel was as thrilling as anything Ridley Scott's ever done.
