    "There's no film like Emilia Pérez"- and that's undoubtedly a good thing. Offensive in its depiction of Mexican culture and trans people, littered with tired ropes, and ultimately, dull. Not to mention how poorly crafted and unintentionally comical the musical numbers are when they clearly are going for melodrama.

    Everyone involved with this movie should be EMBERASSED. this isn't empowering for anyone. It's making a sideshow mockery out of the trans community.
