    favorite bit was when they name teased jfk like he was the joker at the end of batman begins.

    really thought i'd skimmed a decent amount of writings about the film before going in but was hella surprised that the Big Intrigue of the Film was in 3 hours of whether robert downey jr would or would not be successful in ruining oppenheimer's reputation. the film ending on the self-satisfaction of defeating downey jr was such an absurd, absurd thing to watch: lowly smirking characters getting in zingers; downey jr's fomo over an einstein conversation. real strange filmmaking.
