Tig Notaro: Hello Again 2024
The only negative is that I’ve heard half these bits multiple times on podcasts. But Tig remains an excellent comic.

An American Christmas Carol 1979
It’s the season to watch such things so I ventured in because this Christmas tale had Henry Winkler.
This aired while Happy Days was in its 7th season which stands to reason that Winkler was itching to spread his wings beyond Fonzie. (He’d made three movies between the previous seasons of the show).
The problem is that he didn’t make his performance seem old aged to match the severe makeup. The movie isn’t terrible it just doesn’t have anything that’s great. And maybe that would be asking too much from a TV movie 45 years later.

Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford 2023
I was so pleased that Laurent Bouzereau was doing this doc. The director has made some of the best supplemental materials, especially for Steven Spielberg films, during the heyday of DVD extras.
His knowing hand crafted a great complement to his 2003 Indiana Jones: Making the Trilogy. There is abundant unseen footage from behind the scenes and some very good interview clips as well.
The focus here is Harrison Ford but nice moments are included for Spielberg and Lucas and…
