Back to the Future 1985
Left me wanting to watch the sequels. When you know what’s going to happen in a movie, what’s supposed to happen, it makes you more involved in decisions that don’t play out the way you know they should. Bit of a cookie cutter plot, like I feel like this could’ve been a tv episode, but I’m not discrediting the story building, world building, and ability to articulate itself in just under 2 hours. The topic of time travel is a slippery slope and can be very confusing if done incorrectly. This mastered that element and dare I say birthed Christopher Nolan.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory 1971
Masterpiece. Top top soundtrack. Sensational performance from Gene Wilder. Great meaning behind the story.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1 2003
My friends came over and they have never seen "Kill Bill". I was like, "That needs to change." Since "Kill BIll: Vol. 2" is one of my favorite movies of all time, watching the first one for the second time helped with my understanding of the story. Once you watch both movies and then rewatch the first one you notice subtle details, pieces of dialogue and codewords that add to the story. Undisputed as a classic and I can't wait to watch this for years to come. Uma Thurman is a BOSS!
