Offensichtlicher Satanistic-Horror, der sich sphärisch düster durch Osgood Perkins‘ Hand auf dem Silbertablett darbietet, wir ihm gleichwohl und ohne zu zögern mit großen Augen aus der Hand fressen. Midsommar macht es vor, Longlegs gibt sich keineswegs die Blöße. Grafisch intensiver schaffen es die letzten Jahre keine anderen Genrevertreter. Symbolisch ebenfalls nicht.
