Everyone likely knows by now what I'm here for. And for those who don't follow my reviews, this isn't addressed to you, and has absolutely nothing to do with this critically acclaimed, renowned work of mastery that is Paint Drying also known as "séchage de la peinture", "페인트 건조" (2016). This is more to do with me, like many others on here.
And so, I've succumbed to this make-shift announcements place. I've come to share that I'm on temporary hiatus. This doesn't mean I won't be online on Letterboxd, but it does mean that I won't be quite nearly as active. I love reading and liking all of your reviews but I'm doing less of that now. I just need a week or two to focus on what's important, prioritise some significant things coming up like the exams I'm studying for beginning Monday and improve the overall quality of my reviews which are decreasing in quality and getting more half-assed and lacklustre. I don't know whether you guys have noticed as well, or my reviews were terrible to begin with (probably the latter). So anyway my account isn't getting a major rehaul, but I'm going to try to log more serious stuff when time provides, and give you guys reviews worth reading and reviews you deserve, for the minuscule but awesome community I have on here, despite being a fairly tiny user.
So until then, so long. You've been great company. Hate to jump on the bandwagon now when many of you have more serious problems going on and I have the audacity to take a break because social media can sometimes be a burden or exhausting in even the most welcoming of apps. I'm just putting this out there to let anyone who cares to know.
