what i liked: - ms marvel - ms marvels interactions with everyone - the singing folk and how they looked - the plan with the cats eating the crew - memory from cats playing during that scene - the “training” montage of the switching powers - the switching during the fighting sequences - sometimes when kamala’s family was there - the movie can be really funny at times
what i disliked: - the sometimes terrible cg - too much of fury and kamala’s family - the non-believable emotional connection between captain marvel and captain rambeau - how captain marvel can light up a sun yet it takes her like two hours to fight those two bad guys in kamala’s home - the villain - the plot - basically everything else
a lot of the smaller scenes between the three main characters were very cute and funny, and there were some really original elements (like the singing scene), but the overall villain and her plot just did not interest me at all, didn’t feel like any stakes. very very meh, moreso due to the plot than the characters, all the scenes without the main trio were boring and bland. also why do these new marvel films have to look so ugly?
