I went in with an open mind expecting nothing and the film gave me nothing, then fine. It's just not a good story, it seems to have been written by chatgpt. The saturation of the “Marvel formula” is no secret. It's exhausting that the most exciting part of these movies are the post-credit scenes. The only sign of good stories they had was James Gunn, and now he's gone. I think 2024 with no MCU releases except Deadpool 3 could be good. They really need to change a lot to get us excited again. But to be fair, the MCU has done a lot worse than The Marvels before.
