Tucker and Dale are two hillbillies that just want to take a vacation. At the same time a group of college kids are going camping around the same spot. One girl accidentally falls in the water, hitting her head, and Dale jumps in to rescue her. Her group of friends think Tucker and Dale have captured her, judging by their appearance, and the group freaks out and plots their revenge on Tucker and Dale, which leads to them thinking the college kids have gone crazy! Due to this chain of events, death and hilarity ensues! And yes, the death scenes are freaking hilarious! The last time I laughed so hard during a horror-comedy was with Zombieland. Tucker and Dale are both such lovable characters, especially Dale (Tyler Labine), but I loved seeing Alan Tudyk (Firefly) playing the hillbilly Tucker. Aside from the main girl, Allison, the rest of the college kids are a bunch of dimwits, which makes their deaths all the more funny to me. I know I’m sort of spoiling stuff, but damn this movie is just great! It never gets old no matter how many times you watch it. ^ Above is original review from Oct 9th 2012.
