    Inception for smart people but I’m a big dumb dumb. I don’t like the blending of fiction and reality. I find it impossibly tedious when characters are wondering if they’re dreaming. It is pretty and there’s some good stuff in there but I hate that blending so much. Was also very sleepy watching it (unrelated to movie) so I’m sure that didn’t help my enjoyment. 
    #FourOutOfSeven.
    Side note: I’m also unimpressed with Inception and that doesn’t even really blend it. Except the end which doesn’t really and I have already stated is so bad.

    Bad and dumb. I’m told it’s better than 2019 lion king but more than anything I want this to be the nail in the coffin for this “photorealistic” animated movie trend. I don’t want to see a lion kind of smile. It looks bad. Nothing looks like anything.

    As bland as the story is, the songs are so much worse. Adding a word that gets repeated in a strange tone doesn’t make a song. 

    Some truly clunky dialogue. Mandrill just…

    Apparently you can make something incredible and moving that isn’t three hours long? Immediately on board from the opening and what an opening. I thought it was going to be light and fun and instead what did I get? Oof.

    Surpassed all expectations set by that terrible first trailer. A lot of it’s fun and sometimes the songs are better than the original broadway cast recording; some of the songs are duds 🤷🏻‍♀️. Takes some time to get started but it is fun. They hate crimed a goat!
