]]>Personally resonate with a lot of Lewis and his story and while the documentary does an alright job at portraying things it feels a bit flat and gets caught up on unnecessary details instead of focusing on the true impact of Lewis's mental health on his life.

]]>Film has a great start but once reaching the halfway point suffers a bit of an identity crisis eventually finding the settling point in a generic rom-com rather than the fresh form it shows earlier on.
]]>This film certainly grew on me through its run time, finding myself far more interested in the second half. Despite having a general dislike for donuts, the donut time scene was fantastic, and it is impressive this was all shot on a mobile phone. I feel this may grow on me overtime, but don't feel I can rate it higher right now.
Merry Christmas (:
]]>LAUFEY IS THE GOAT NO DEBATE. WHAT A WOMEN, WHAT A MUSICIAN, WHAT A SINGER. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE GOAT IS NOT MESSI, ITS NOT RONALDO, ITS LAUFEY!!!!
(Took off half a star to not look so biased.)
HAVE A NICE DAY (:
Gave a star for every time she said "Fuck" and added another half for festive cheer.

]]>This is a good film don't get me wrong, however maybe not as good as some have been saying.

One of the most lovable and simultaneously hateable films to ever exist. This film is covered in charm with some truly iconic songs and performances, but GEEEESE LOUISEE it has so much problematic messaging. Almost very character is a complete idiot. Characters commit acts of sexual assault and its laughed off, Danny is a complete jerk to Sandy who is shown to have no validity unless thinking about him, the whole message at the end of the film is pretty much that a women should change herself to appeal to a man. Genuinely cant think of one good thing to say about Danny, but I can think of another bad thing, he's homophobic too, I mean bro laughs in his friends face when he comes out, and yeah I get it may be the 1950's that its set in and his friend was indicating he was into him but I mean still. Honestly ahhhhh there is so much to be frustrated about in this film but ill self implode if I keep rattling on. Still though Hopelessly devoted to you is an absolute certified bop.
Have a nice day (:
]]>100th film of the Year!! Film was alright, for being so long wish I was feeling it a bit more, just felt a little flat and one dimensional to a degree. Wasn't bad but just didn't really hit. Wholesome at least that I watched this with my Dad.

]]>One of the most real portrayals of Autism I've seen in a film, both displayed through Barry's character and the general language the film uses throughout to highlight his characters perception of the world around him and the events that unfold. Its not a film about autism but autism is there and relavent, impacting the film in a far more accurate and honest display than we sadly typically see.
