Speaking of darkness, this was remarkably heavier than I was expecting! I guess the first one had these same dark undertones at times, but a whole song about no longer wanting to persevere, being filled with existential dread, and then ultimately coming to melancholy acceptance of death and necessary resilience despite profound despair all in the span of 2 minutes was a bit wild.
