    Alien and Predator Ranked

    Just going straight in on my main bone of contention which is that I'm assuming this is the ‘fixed’ Ian Holm that Fede Alvarez said they got so wrong in the theatrical release. It's just that his character still looks somewhat uncanny. I'm not talking ‘Superman’s shaved moustache’ uncanny, but he's still pretty odd looking. Yeah….I didn't like that part.

    What a trip. Second time watching this one. I still don't connect with it in the same way as some of Lynch's other films. It's maybe his most challenging work. Perhaps it's fitting for such an enigmatic director that that was his last film. Laura Dern's performance encapsulates the madness. She's excellent here.
