Midnight Cowboy 1969
A fantastic, stirring drama. Voight and Hoffman bring so much gravitas to their performances that’s it’s nearly impossible not to be swept up in this horribly lonely film scattered with fragments of shattered, half-formed dreams. One of those films you know will be great from the opening minute.

Okay I’m back. But I’m not happy about it.
Why people like it, I don’t know and I don’t want to know. Its for people who think looking halfway decent and having attractive people means it’s “good”. It’s the kind of film that makes me hate watching films. Rian Johnson is such an embarrassingly out of touch trust fund vampire, it’s not even mildly amusing anymore. Lazy script, boring characters (except Blanc) and absolutely atrocious acting. Like the first one…
