So, after 5 delayed years I finally managed to pick up Marvels Spider-man PS4 and believe me when i say this is not only one of the best video games I've played but one of the strongest superhero stories in media. The level of adoration for the character of Peter Parker is immaculate; i haven't felt such emotion in a game's character growth in a long time. This is the best spider-man/ Peter Parker story since Sam Raimis Spider-Man 2; every line of dialogue, quip, action set piece, editing, voice performance, musical score, emotional moment adds to the beautiful narrative that's a love letter to the character as a whole. Every narrative beat comes together, everything about this game is perfect in every conceivable way; I teared up and clapped when the credits rolled. PLEASE make a Spider-man movie with THIS authenticity.
