I really really tried to like this film, i get that its garish, uses non PC language and its trying to provoke disgust...i get it
But...my biggest problem is...non of the characters are likeable and non of their petsonal stories I actually cared about
Special effects are impressive for the ultra low budget but lacked the love that a studio like Troma would give you

But its a goodtime, decent story
I thought Cassandra Nova was a solid villain
And i love a great soundtrack

Its a great addition to the series
My wife doesnt like these type of films
But i cant get enough of it
The terrifier films are live action looney toons cartoons with a psychotic murders clown
Considering the humble beginnings of the franchise
I cant wait for them to keep going and see Art the clown in space!!!

Kept waiting for The Batman to turn up
Cant wait for Battinson to punch him in the face in Batman part 2

As a premise and as a spectacle this film is almost perfect
The final act is a little ropey and it abandons its 'found footage' moniker that it spent 3/4 of the runtime perfecting
Its still one of the standouts of the year and would highly recommend

Nicholas Hoult shows off his comedic chops whilst Nicholas Cage was born for this iteration of Dracula
Solid movie and a reasonable run time
Would recommend for a film night with friends

Im really digging the Era of Hugh Grant playing villains
He really stays with you long after the credits roll and the lights turn on
